"Do you want to be a fireman?"
Reid: "No."
"What do you want to be when you grow up?"
Reid: "A Captain Hook."
Great. Just hope he never makes me walk the plank!

Whether you turn to the right or to the left, you will hear a voice saying, "This is the way. Walk in it."

Peeease!
Whenever LilliAnn wants to nurse she'll say, "open." It actually sounds like "opa." It's kind of embarrassing because when we're in public she'll grab my shirt or try and raise it up, saying "opa! opa! OPA!" Yes, I know she's almost 16 months old, but it's just worked for us. Lately, she's been nursing morning and night and one or two times in between if I'm not working. I'm a human pacifier for the most part. This morning Reid and I were
cuddled in the bed watching "Jake and the Neverland Pirates" on Disney, when sissy walks up to the side of the bed wanting to join us. As I put her in the bed she pulls at my shirt, "opa!" Then looks at me with the sweetest smile and says in the sweetest, soft little voice, "peeeease?" (please). You think it's time to wean? :)
And speaking of sweet kids....as Reid's getting in the bath this morning he looks at me and says "mom, you know? You know? I love you." Then LilliAnn grabs
my leg and greets me with kisses as I get out of the shower. How sweet it is...
When I was pregnant with Reid I received a gift from a doctor that I had been with during some of my clinicals. She was pregnant with her third child and in the card she had written, "There is no greater joy!" She was so right...there is NO greater joy!

Reid - 3 Year Pictures
.....
A couple of months ago I took Reid to have his 3 year old photo shoot. I was a little nervous about the shoot because Reid is at the age where he just isn't into taking pictures...I mean, what 3 year old boy is? He will never look at the camera and when you do finally get him to look at the camera he says "cheese" with the craziest smile you've ever seen - nose scrunched, eyes closed, and nostrils flared! Thankfully, Angel Porch is AMAZING with kids and she worked her magic...she was making Reid laugh and smile the entire session!
Angel did a great job capturing Reid's personality at "age 3." He absolutely LOVES baseball right now...hence the baseball birthday party...so I decided to bring his ball gear for a few shots. They turned out super cute!

Playing with a stick...he's all boy!
.....
This is one of my favorites! #5 was his Wee Ball number this year.
.....
"Don't you show us a smile...don't you do it!"

Reid has a ton of "hand me down" underwear from my little cousin, Grayson. He always wants to wear those (because they're Grayson's, of course!) instead of his own underwear. I had bought Reid a new pair of jean shorts that I hadn't tried on him yet. They were way too big for him and his "Hulk" underwear were showing! I was soooo embarrassed, but Angel thought it was super cute and ALL BOY! She just had to get a shot of them. I must admit...I love it!
.....
How handsome is this 3 year old?

Another ball? Why not?

.....
"K.D.? Yeah, he's not bad." :) Reid LOVES the OKC Thunder!
.....
This is probably my favorite picture in the batch. Sweet smile, sweet look, sweet shirt...sweet boy!
