Happy Halloween 2009

The weekend before Halloween we had our 2nd annual Rollins Halloween Party!
This year we decided to "clown around" a little bit. ..........
Looking back... Rollins Halloween Party 2008
..........
We had lots of yummy food including sausage balls, caramel apples, spinach dip, "mummies"-in-a-blanket, Armadillo eggs, pumkin bread, sandwiches, cupcakes, and a meat and cheese tray!

One of my brother's friends made the cutest Halloween cupakes for us!

Emily even came down for the party!

The Simpsons even showed up! (A.K.A. The Brown Family)

Reid's not a very happy clown...we could never get him to smile.

Rocked out Nana (her shirt says "I've just never been the same since that house fell on my sister.)
..........
Granny Carol even dressed up.

On Halloween day Grayson came over to play and go Trick-or-Treating with us. It was a beautiful day and the boys had fun bouncing in the inflatable in the backyard.
..........
Reid wanted both candy buckets!
..........
Daddy was on bicycle patrol in our neighborhood on Halloween so he stopped by to see us.
..........
Reid LOVED his bicycle helmet.

..........
Ready to go Trick-or-Treating! He would say "Trick Treat!"
..........
..........
This clown didn't look too happy when he came to my door to Trick-or-Treat. He must've gotten some bad candy!
Actually, Reid had hand, foot, and mouth virus that started on Wednesday before Halloween. He was feeling much better by Saturday but still hadn't eaten much. He wouldn't even eat the yummy Halloween candy!
..........
Mom, finally sitting down to enjoy her bowl of delicious cheeseburger potato soup.

Lovely Aunt Johnna (who cleaned my entire house that day!)

He finally got his appetite back and wanted ALL the Dum Dums!
..........
I've always loved celebrating fall and dressing up for Halloween (I think because my birthday is in October so I love this time of year). We had a blast this year, even though Reid was a little sick on Halloween, and enjoyed having all our friends and family over for the party! Hope to see you next year all dressed up in your costumes at the 3rd annual Rollins Halloween Party!
