This is our tiny dancer! She had her very first Seminole Dance Company Christmas performance last week and we could not be more proud of her!

Most of you already know this, but I really worry about LilliAnn's hair. It is so slow to grow! All of the other girls in her dance class have the longest hair, while LilliAnn is just now starting to get a little bit of length. So you can just imagine how excited I was when we were finally able to wear it in a real ponytail!
.....
LilliAnn started dance when she was 9 months old and was in the Mommy & Me class for the past two years. This year, Darana thought she was ready for the "big girl" class. In the three year-old class the dancers have to go to class without their mamas. LilliAnn loves dance and has been doing a great job in class, but I have been so nervous about this Christmas performance...especially since she is only two and the youngest in her class. Most of the girls in her class are an entire year older than her and I just wasn't sure that she would have the confidence or know all of her moves to do the performance. Boy was I ever wrong! LilliAnn stole the show!! She fell asleep on the way over to Seminole, so I was worried she would be cranky and not want to perform. While we were waiting for the dance to start, LilliAnn kept shaking. It wasn't cold in there, so I think she was really nervous. Darana came over and talked to her and told her to take a big breath like the big girls. After what seemed like forever, it was finally time for the 3 year-old class to go on "stage". LilliAnn ran out onto the floor and put her hands on her knees. She was ready to go!

Reindeer Ears!

I LOVE this picture! This is the part in the dance that is a little more complicated. They have to jump out and in, then out and in...while opening and closing their arms. This takes extreme concentration when you're two, hence the tongue sticking out!

doooooowwwwwn...

And UP! Yay Sissy!
.....
And my favorite part...she ran straight to me as fast as she could as soon as the dance was over, biggest grin ever on her face! She knew I was so proud of her!
.....
Apparently she left all her smiles on stage! But look at that cute Strawberry Shortcake necklace that Mimi and Papa bought her for doing so good!
