Little Baller. Reid's first basketball team.

A couple of months ago, Reid played on his very first basketball team. Reid spends most of his time at home in the garage shooting baskets, so he was beyond excited to join a "real basketball team." He was a little disappointed at first that their team name was the Lakers, but when we explained that the YMCA picked the names and we didn't have a choice, he seemed to understand. Jeb coached the team, and found it quite difficult to teach 3 and 4 year-olds how to dribble a basketball!

Reid has loved basketball since he got his first goal when he was 9 months old. He has always been obsessed with any type of sports ball, and I couldn't tell you how many basketballs we have at our house. He collects basketball sneakers and has multiple pairs of K.D.'s and Jordan's. I think he would wear a different pair to every game! And Reid is quite the little baller. He scored 14 points in his very first game, and was the top scorer on the team in almost every game. He took it very seriously and was one of the best dribblers in the league!

We had a great little team and won most of our games. Reid LOVES the sport and had lots of fun and that was what was most important. And he especially liked his medal.
