last day of pre-k. {LilliAnn}

LilliAnn's last day of Pre-K was bittersweet. I was proud of her for doing so well this year and for gaining more confidence, yet I was sad to be leaving Mrs. Whitefield and Mrs. Looper. They were beyond wonderful this year and we will really miss them! I'm glad they will be right down the hall if LilliAnn needs extra hugs during Kindergarten!

LilliAnn had been really excited about her Pre-K program, but when they came out she looked really shy and nervous!

She looked a little more relaxed about she found us in the audience and flashed me her sweet smile.

She's so loud and outgoing at home, but at school she is much more withdrawn and doesn't talk much.

With each song she seemed to smile a little bit more, and by the end she had more confidence, thank goodness!

Luckily, Mrs. Whitefield is doing out tutoring/enrichment this summer, so we'll get to see her every week!

Her teachers gave the class end of the year buckets with art supplies and a homemade cookie that had a tag that read, "You're one smart cookie!" They also made a scrapbook for each child that included handprint art and a handwritten letter from the child's parents. It was too cute, and the kids absolutely loved their goodies!
