A Fabulous Fourth!

The Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays! I'm a big fan of "themes" and so I love the excuse to be all patriotic in our red, white, and blue. The night before the fourth Lacee and Jett came to spend the night and the boys played all night long. And although bedtime is a lot harder when they are together, it's nice because Lacee and I get to spend some time catching up while the boys entertain eachother.

Jett was saying, "Give me five, Reid" and Reid just kept chunking balls at him.

The next day we went out to the Wewoka Lake to celebrate the fourth. For as long as I can remember I've spent the fourth of July at the lake. Our place is always full of family, friends, food, and fun and because the it is smaller, there is a wonderful small-town feel that I just love about Wewoka Lake.

I learned to water ski on this lake and on the 4th of July Reid learned to tube!

Not too sure about what was about to happen...

Later that evening we had a fish fry and hung out under the pavilion. The party barge (A.K.A. Tyler Morgan's boat) dropped Stacey off for a visit.

Reid loves to throw EVERYTHING, so the little pops firecrackers that you throw were perfect for him. Every time he would throw one and it would pop he would go, "pop, ohhh!"
I'm such a great photographer... mid-air!

Grandma Lucy's dog Chloe is so sweet. She lets Reid hug her, kiss her, hit her, and even try and ride her! ~

Isn't this just as cute as it can be? This is my annual 4th of July dessert...it's a brownie cheesecake delight with strawberries, blueberries, and bananas.

We had a Fabulous Fourth of July and an Incredible Independence Day! In closing this post I would like to say a special thank you to all of those who have given their life for our country and for our independence. And to all of those currently serving in the military, you have our support and appreciation. Until next 4th of July...PEACE out!
