5 months.

5 months! We have been so busy and had so much fun this month! My computer was getting worked on, so I'm a bit behind on my posts! Rush started sitting up a couple of weeks ago, but now he has mastered this exciting milestone! He thinks he is such a big boy and LOVES sitting in the floor and playing with the big kids! He's even starting to sit in a high chair now and we even started baby food at the end of this month! Rush has also started crawling this month. Not just army crawling, but full blown crawling! He has been accomplishing all of his milestones so fast! As exciting as it is to watch, it is also bittersweet. Please don't "Rush!" His favorite thing to say is "da da da da." I keep pushing "mama" on him, but he has yet to say it intentionally.

Things You Love:

-talking/babbling (When you get tired you start talking to yourself non-stop! It's the sweetest thing and I absolutely LOVE it!)

-mommy and daddy's bed (you only like to sleep/take naps in our bed)

-the bath tub! 

-bouncing on mommy's lap

-putting everything in your mouth!

You still haven't slept all the way through the night yet. At the very end of 5 months, your night/early morning schedule looks a bit like this:

-9:30 bedtime

-10:30/11:00 wakes to nurse/wants to play a little

-4:30 wakes to nurse

-7:00 wakes to nurse/play, stays up for a couple of hours 

-8:30 eats baby food/breakfast

-9:00 back to sleep for morning nap

I'm already missing the newborn stage, but baby Rush, I'm so excited to see what the future has in store for you sweet boy!
