Pistols Firing!

Last weekend, my best friend Kari invited us to the OSU football season opener in Stillwater. Kari's family has season tickets and we were so excited that she shared them with us for one of the games. My cousin Mica and her husband, Travis, have season tickets just a few seats down from Kari's, so Reid and Cason got to hang out at "college" all day and go to the game together. We started the day at Hideaway Pizza, of course, and then made a stop to a few "fan favorite" stores to do a little bit of cowboy shopping! When Reid gets into something he has to have ALL the gear! We left the first store with a new OSU football jersey (because the other one he was wearing was from when he "was 3"- it had a 3T size at the bottom of the jersey!), an OSU football helmet and jersey costume set, OSU tattoos, and a black OSU football. Next we walked around to the front of the stadium and let the boys play on the inflatables.

Our high school friends, Matt & Julie Rose, have season tickets as well so Reid and Cason were able to play with their little boy, Cash. I had such a great day hanging out with two of my very best friends from high school! We're still best friends to this day!

All that's missing is Logan!

These three little four year-olds had a BLAST! They thought they were big stuff!!
.....
Such cuties! Watch out ladies!
.....
The OSU basketball team was giving out signed cowboy basketballs to all of the kids and then they would get to shoot a free throw. Reid thought this was super cool! They ran out of balls right as it was Reid's turn in line, but fortunately, one of the players was holding an extra and Reid's big alligator tears got him an autographed basketball!

Reid didn't dribble the ball because he didn't want to mess up the autographs. He was excited to put this "special ball" in his bedroom!

Fun day with our baby boy! I think we make cute little Pokes!

He was really getting into the game! His favorite part was when Bullet the horse would run out onto the field after a touchdown. He would look at the score and say, "Mom, we're winning by a lot. Their team is still at 0." He loved dancing and waving his hands back and forth to the OSU fight song after a touchdown. During the National Anthem at the beginning of the game, he put his little hand over his heart and looked at me and said, "I really like this part, mom."
.....
My very best friend in the entire world...and the biggest OSU fan that I know (P.S. We are BOTH OU graduates!).
.....
Thank you so much, Kari, for taking us to the game! It was the perfect college football Saturday...we could not have asked for a better day!!
(Now Jeb is wanting season tickets!)
