Aarrrgg!

Just booked the pirate cruise down at the Harbor! Reid had to get a pirate bandana, a hook, a sword, and a pirate beach towel. Sissy got a pirate sword too! Panama City Beach is gorgeous! Dad, Jeb, and Kass are taking an 8 hour fishing trip on Monday...hopefully they won't all get burnt and be miserable for the rest of the trip, lol.

This made me smile...

I was cleaning out my car from spending the weekend at the lake...I opened Reid's backpack and was expecting to find clothes and shoes, instead I found this and it made me smile. He had stuffed his bag with one basketball. That boy takes a ball with him every time we leave the house. The basketball says it all..."Baller."

Big Fish

.....
I found these pictures from last month on my computer and I wanted to share. The quality isn't great because I used a different camera and the lighting wasn't very good, but I thought they capture some pretty special moments.

There's nothing better than fishing with daddy.

Memorial Weekend {2011}

Memorial weekend this year was lots of fun, but seemed a little more low key than past Memorial weekends. I was very sick the week before with some kind of horrible virus, so I wasn't up to doing much but resting and relaxing. I don't know if it was because it was so windy or because the lake has been down, but there wasn't as many people on Wewoka Lake as their usually is Memorial Day. I liked it better because there weren't as many boats and wave runners, so the lake wasn't as crowded. The kids loved riding in the pontoon boat and Reid loved swimming with Jett and Grayson.

Looking for big "tish" (fish)
.....
LilliAnn just wonders around the boat doing her own thing...she honks the horn, takes her shoes off, then watches the boys for a while.
.....
Cracking up at her daddy!
.....
Silly boy!
.....
We had the stereo blaring and LilliAnn was getting down!
.....
.....
This is one of my favorite pictures of her. It really shows off her little personality. She has that little "Jeb" scowl on her face and she's got one shoe off...posted up and taking it all in.

Daddy's little skipper
.....
She LOVES honking the horn in the boat. The bad thing...the horn makes this extremely annoying sound.
.....
Grayson fell a couple of days before the weekend and got a huge laceration in his head that was closed with some steri-strips. He couldn't get it wet, so we figured out a little wound care/water proof headband for it. It looked crazy, but at least he got to tube and swim!
.....
Summertime girl!
.....
We hung out a lot down at the Morgan's cabin. The water was so low that they had a nice little sandy beach by their dock and all the kids could hang out and play. I snapped this pic of Tyler and Lindsey...gorgeous lovers.
.....
.....
She loves playing in the sand and eating dirt....such a little tom boy!
.....
Taking care of everything, as usual!
.....
.....
Tyler spun the boys around on this tube most of the time. They thought this was the coolest thing ever!

Beautiful baby Joss

They're finally getting to the age where they can play together!

I adore this picture.

Always on the go!

She's showing me the sunflower seed she found on the boat floor. This is right before she puts it in her mouth to eat!

Worn smooth out!

His "cheese!" face.
.....
Yes, I get this look multiple times a day.
.....
And she's eating the sunflower seed. Yes, she knows how to eat them.

I love this picture. LilliAnn sleeping on Great-Grandma Lillian's wedding ring quilt.

Not too much action, but a nice, relaxing time at the lake. This is our summer "home away from home." Stay tuned for more summertime lake pictures!

savor the baby...

...
...
...
LilliAnn is getting so big...too big. These past few days she has started acting so much older, so I've been really trying to savor the baby. Yes, we're still breastfeeding. I'm trying to hold onto that little bit of tiny baby. She's started really "talking" this week and has started playing more with Reid. They love to chase each other around the house and she even likes to get the remote controller and play Wii with him! She no longer walks...she runs. She's started walking up to me, pointing at her diaper and saying, "wet." And tonight she's even started taking off her wet diapers. She likes to sit in the chair at the kid table in our living room to eat and she walks to the refrigerator and says, "juice" when she's thirsty. She walks around "talking" on my phone and says "uh-oh" and brings it to me when I get a call or a text. When I tell her we need to change her diaper she'll go either  into the living room or bedroom, get a diaper, and bring it back to me to change her and when I try to put lotion on her she tells me "no." She'll walk up to Reid and say, "tick, tick" making the cutest tickle motions with her little hands and just this week she's started doing all of the motions to her recital dance. She climbs on everything, walks down small steps without holding on, and has started climbing down off of our bed. She'll bring me her shoes to put on and says, "shoe," and earlier this week she told me "lub you," after I said, "love you" to her. When I ask her a question, she'll say, "nuh-uh," and she tells me to "go" when I'm at a stoplight. She's even sleeping in her crib for most of the night! Where. did. my. baby. go? For now, I'm going to SAVOR THE BABY!
