Moo, Moo, Moo. Rush is TWO!

We've been celebrating our baby Rush turning two all week long! We started off the party last weekend at the Oklahoma City zoo! Rush is obsessed with cows, so we decided to have a cow themed party…at the zoo! Haha! I been extremely busy trying to get the new house finished, so I wanted an easy, low-key party where I could just enjoy celebrating Rush. I knew a party at the zoo would be just that!
…..
How absolutely perfect is this cow cake? I was SO happy with how it turned out! Rush asked, "Can I touch that cow?" And, "Can I eat that barn?"
…..
Of course I let him eat the fondant barn…and he loved it!
…..
This was the least amount of decorations that I have ever done for a party! The zoo would only allow a cake and a few snacks, and they wouldn't allow balloons because of the animals. This made it easier on me, especially since we went up early before the part to hand out at the zoo all day. I showed Rush these plates that I found online and he immediately wanted them. A few clicks on Birthday Express and the decor was done! Third children are so easy ;)
…..
These cookies were my FAVORITE thing about the party! I have a slight obsession with super cute sugar cookies!
…..
Most of our friends were away for Spring Break (sometimes it stinks to have a Spring Break birthday), but Tripp Tucker came to the party! Rush and Tripp are just about a week apart and have started a tradition of coming to each other's birthday parties!
…..
It was a long morning of looking at all of the animals! Daddy needed a little rest!
…..
Mimi, Papa, and Nana came too! Rush LOVES his Papa Glenn! He begs to go to the lake to see "Papa Glenn's doggies" and "ride (the Kubota) with Papa Glenn."
…..
I brought several toy cows to put on the cake table, and the kids loved playing with them.
…..
I rented the Treehouse room at the zoo for the actual party. We hung out at the zoo most of the day and then that afternoon we went to this little treehouse building for the party.
…..
The party director brought out two different animals for the kids to see and pet, and Rush thought this was really fun! This is some sort of tine opossum!
…..
…..
The kids were so good. They listened to her t ell about each animal, and waited their turn to see it!
…..
…..
…..
Papa Kelbo, Nana Karen, and Uncle Kass spent the day with us, and then the Ervins came up for the party.
…..
…..
Rush followed her around the room as she was showing everyone the animal. He was intrigued by the little opossum!
…..
Daddy wanted to get a good look at the little critter!
…..
…..
The next animal she brought out was some sort of chicken. Rush especially liked this one!
…..
…..
He wasn't so sure about petting it at first.
…..
…..
…..
Next it was time for cake and ice cream!
…..
Rush could not get enough of the Happy Birthday song and kept wanting everyone to sing it " 'gain!"
…..
My precious 2 year-old - I'm having a tough time with this one not being a little baby anymore!
…..
…..
…..
Blowing out candles is so much fun!
…..
The next batch of pictures are from our time looking at all of the animals. We had such an enjoyable time just strolling around the zoo and playing with our kiddos!

 We love our Mimmy!

Carousel ride with Uncle Kass! As soon as Rush saw it, he said, "I wanna ride that!"
…..
Mr. Big Stuff! We're currently in a "Michael Jordan" stage :)
…..
I think Kass's favorite animal was the Condor. He's thinking about making a rap video titled, "The Condor Creep!"
…..
I had to get a few flamingo pics for sis! The flamingo is her favorite animal!

We had the BEST time celebrating Rush's 2nd birthday! We continued the celebrations with a family party at Grandma Mimmy's ranch and then taking Rush to meet Elmo at Sesame Street Live! Big week for our big 2 year old!
