3 Months of Lil: Giggles & Goos

.....
Yep, she's 3 months old - and already has quite the little personality! In the past month Lil has really became aware of her surroundings! She looks all around when we walk into a room with her and she just loves to "talk." I've wanted to her stay a newborn so long that I wasn't ready when all these milestones starting happening - rolling over for the first time (at 2 1/2 months old on the seat of the pontoon boat!), giggling, making "goo" and "gah" sounds, pushing up on her elbows, discovering her hands, reaching and holding on to toys. But one of her biggest accomplishments is sleeping through the night...what an angel baby! The past week Lil has been sleeping through the night on most nights - something her brother never did until after I weaned him at a year old! Because of wanting her to stay little, I seemed to forget how fast they go from one stage to the next. My mom had to remind me the other day that she could probably sit in her Bebe pod chair now and that I needed to put her on her play mat more often. So in the next month or so we'll probably be getting out the exersaucer and jumper as well! It all comes way too fast...do they have to grow up?

And yes, she's still a little chunk! She weights 13 pounds, 6 ounces and is 24 inches long - still in the 75 percentile for her weight and her height. She's the perfect, squishy, chubby little baby! She doesn't have much hair, expect for the little bit on the lower part of the back of her head - it's coarser than Reid's hair and is a light brown color. When it's wet, it looks a little wavy like she may have a little curl or body in it like her Nana Karen and Gam-Ma Missy. As of now, her eyes are still a dark blue - the color of her daddy's, and I think she's going to have her daddy's temperment as well, easy-going with a sweet spirit. Although I have a feeling she's going to be outgoing as well, with a little bit of mommy's sass and attitude...we'll see :)
