We decided not to find out the gender of the baby at the time of the ultrasound. We had the ultrasound technician put the pictures of the baby's gender with "girl" or "boy" written on the back in a sealed envelope. We had a party later that night where Jeb and I fed eachother cupcakes with either pink or blue icing in the middle in order to find out the gender. I kept the envelope in my purse all day and wasn't even tempted to peek. I had in my heart all along that the baby was a boy so I wanted to savor the hope that it might be a girl for just a little while longer. On the way home from the doctor, I was look at a ultrasound picture of the baby's legs and trying to see if I saw anything in between them. I kept saying that it might be a girl because I didn't see any distict boy parts like there was on Reid's ultrasound picture. This was making Jeb really nervous because he'd already been calling the baby a "he." Finally he said, "Give me the dang envelope. I can't take it anymore!" But I didn't give in and finally at 7:30 that night Suzanne brought over the cupcakes. Suzanne was the only person besides the ultrasound technician and Dr. Ryan that knew if the baby was a boy or a girl.

..........After we found out it was a "she" Jeb took his Team Blue shirt off to celebrate our little girl. He sat in the rocking chair and watched baseball to ponder the thought of having a little girl. The he sent me a text message at work the next day that said, "We're having a girl! Get excited!!!!!"
