We recently took Reid to his first OKC Thunder basketball game at the Ford Center in Bricktown. He loves basketball and has a basketball goal almost everywhere we go. We have two at our house, one at my parents' house, one at my grandparents' house, and one at the lake house. He never seems to get tired of shooting baskets and he's actually really good for his age. He's learned several shooting tricks from his daddy and Uncle Kassidy and when he makes it he'll say "Kobe" or "bucket" and when he misses you'll hear him say "oh man!" We thought that it would be good to take Reid to do something since the new baby will be here in a month and we won't be able to do this kind of thing for a while.

I got our tickets for the game off eBay and we had AMAZING seats on the lower level, just behind the Thunder bench!
..........
Reid was in awe the entire first half! He would look at us with a big grin on his face every time someone would score and clap, even if it was the other team! There was never a dull moment and he just loved "Rumble" the bison, the Thunder mascot. He kept looking around asking, "where's buff-lo at?"

Stopping to stare at the big picture of the "buffalo"

At halftime Reid happened to peek in the Thunder souvenir store and saw all the basketballs. Of course we just had to get one even though we have tons of balls at our house already. We shouldn't waited until after the game to buy the ball because after this all he wanted to do was stand out in the hall and dribble.

Throwing a fit because he wanted to play with his ball instead of going back into the game

We made it through three quarters and then it was time to go home. This is the picture you usually get with an "almost-two" year old.
..........
We were barely out of the parking lot and he was already out like a light...with visions of Rumble the buffalo dancing in his head.
So adorable!
