December 24: The Christmas Tour begins...

And so the Christmas tour begins... we had our second Christmas gathering on Christmas Eve...Christmas with my mom's side of the family. We gathered out at the lake house and had a delicious meal of filet mignon and Granny's famous scalloped potatoes. Katie played her new guitar, we sang, we laughed, we opened presents, and we had a wonderful time.

but her favorite present were the pom pons that played music that she got from Granny Carol!

Mom & Dad - right after mom opened her Christmas present from dad - a trip to Italy with her two sisters!!! Best gift ever!!! Mom cried.

Christmas Eve, we went to the candlelight service at church as a family and then came back to the lake house to open presents with my mom, dad, & Kass.

Reid got a 12-in-1 game table for the lake house!

After a fantastic, but long, Christmas Eve - we put on our Christmas pajamas, made cookies for Santa, then snuggled in bed...excited to see what Santa would bring!
